2. A Real-Life Love Story: Michelle & Nick’s Proposal
One of the most unforgettable proposals I’ve ever captured was for Michelle & Nick. He told me she was sweet, romantic, and loved cinematic atmospheres. His love for her was so inspiring that I designed a photoshoot tailored just for them.
It started on the cliffs overlooking Polignano a Mare, with the most breathtaking view of the town as he got down on one knee. Then, we drove into the countryside, where the real magic happened—just the two of them among the vineyards, in the warm Italian sunset. Even today, I still dream when I look at those photos.
But what makes this story truly special? We stayed in touch. I don’t just take photos—I create connections. A few days ago, Nick messaged me to say that every time they look at their engagement photos and video, they still feel the same joy. That’s why I do this. My sessions are not about numbers or money—they are about people. And people have names.

4. How I Make Couples Feel Comfortable
I believe in real memories, real emotions, and real connections. But let me tell you a secret—I don’t know how to pose either! That’s why I never ask my couples to do something unnatural or stiff. Instead, I guide them as I would want to be guided myself.
The first 5 minutes? We just talk. I ask about them, their story, and I explain that the most important thing is to have fun and let go. My instructions are super simple—like, "Let’s go for a walk… you know how to walk, right?"
From there, the magic happens. Sometimes I ask for playful gestures, sometimes sweet and romantic ones, but always tailored to the couple. Usually, I make the guy do something slightly embarrassing that makes the girl feel amazing—it always works! By the end of the session, what shines through is their genuine bond, love, and laughter (and maybe their shared thought that I’m a little crazy!).
I never say, “Put your hand on her shoulder.” Instead, I’ll say, “Walk like it’s a sack race!” And suddenly, what I capture is pure, unscripted emotion. The rest? That’s just the magic of people, of love, and of Puglia.
